Return to Intent
Changelog
What changed in Return, release by release. Facts, not marketing.
1.0.0 · Pre-release
The first complete version of Return to Intent, loadable locally while the Chrome Web Store review is being prepared.
- Pause-first flow: a decision page before selected websites, with “not now” available throughout, and continue controls only after the pause completes.
- Three pause intensities — gentle 4/8/12, standard 6/12/18, strong 10/20/30 seconds — escalating on repeated same-day visits.
- Temporary visits with an explicit purpose (preset or free text) and an independently chosen 1, 5, or 10 minute duration; badge countdown, optional one-minute reminder, early finish, and one-click deliberate extension at expiry.
- Rules for exact hostnames or subdomain-inclusive matching, rule groups with shared schedules, weekday and multi-window pause-first scheduling.
- Global pause for one hour, the rest of today, or until a chosen date and time, with automatic resume.
- Local review of pauses, returns, and temporary visits; 90/180/365-day retention, JSON and CSV export, full local deletion.
- Click-through onboarding that creates a real first rule in five steps.
- Ten interface languages; light and dark themes.
- Local-first boundary: no account, backend, telemetry, or remote code; per-site permissions requested only when a rule is saved.
